Surrounded
The water pulls me down
Consumed
Unbounded
Guidance
Unfound
Waves slowly erode
Foundation withering away
A storm approaches
But yet, still I stay
The anchor
Tied tightly
Its roped around my feet
The water
Surrounding
It drowns my humanity
The water
Enters
My lungs
And drowns my humanity
In turn
I’m swallowed
Further
Down into the darkened sea
The tide cycles
It pulls me out

The soul is gone
Only body remains
