There and Back Again

In a hole in the ground there was a hobbit
With trees and grass all around
A pint of beer talking with friends
And sometimes
Some news from the world outside
Till something changed him inside
From the shire he left
But not searching for adventures
From a world with no enemy
From a world with no tears
Where all the good things seem still alive
He doesn’t care what happens in other places
He lives in happyness wouldn’t understand Middle-Earth
For the first time he knows pain and suffering with dwarves and elves
Remembering his house with its fireside
Something wrong in every step
But he just knows one day he’ll come again
From the shire he left
But not searching for adventures
From a world with no enemy
From a world with no tears
Where all the good things seem still alive
