Melancholy Paper Drum

Eyes sink like heavy stones
Rather be left alone
To stare at the purple sun
Melancholy paper drum
Everything you have is real
It just depends on how you feel
And everything you’ve ever had
Is in the sands of old baghdad
All around there’s song and dance
With golden wine in their hands
And everything you’ll ever have
Is spilling from the flowing glass
Eyes sink like heavy stones
Rather be left alone
To stare at the purple sun
Melancholy paper drum
