An old man addressed me at work in the parking lot
said how could you put up with this s**t
i was listening to diesel boy
rock anthym all the way
how could you be such a shallow intellectual
open your head
you can listen if you want
i just hope you’d understand
that if you open your head
you’d appreciate it more
i just hope that you still can
but since you’ve lost the message

in the short time i’ve lived
i learned how to appreciate
something i know nothing about
however if i did have a reason to trash
i’d have more sense than to tell you it’s s**t
before inflicting it all your bs not a single backing word
not a single act of observation
all your bs and i’m waiting for some more
