Heavy On My Heart

I know how crazy this may sound
And if I overstep my bounds
I’ll turn and be on my way
But I had the strangest feeling today
That you might be on a sadder note
A steeper hill or a shorter rope

If you need me, I’ll be waiting here
'Cause you know lately you’ve been heavy on my heart
It’s a real burden and though
I can’t be certain
I’ve been sending up my prayers
This feeling is so heavy, heavy on my heart
I believe when Jesus came
Took our sin and felt our shame
It must have made a believers' bond
Though we may not know what’s going on
The Holy Spirit can let us know
That someone’s hurting or feeling low
